Colin Douglas is an equity actor who has performed memorable roles such as Benjamin Franklin in 1776, Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol; Sancho in Man of LaMancha and Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing in theaters throughout the country. He has directed numerous productions in regional theaters and at the college and high school level. Mr. Douglas’ teaching credentials include fourteen summers of teaching and directing at Interlochen Center for Arts. He has also worked in television and film.

A native of Michigan, Mr. Douglas has a Bachelor of Science in English & Theatre and a Master of Theater Arts from Western Michigan University. He also earned a Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL studying theatre at University of London, Edinburgh University and Loughborough Teachers' College as part of the program.

Recently, Mr. Douglas completed a two-year post as Artistic Director at CTM Madison Family Theatre, in Madison, Wisconsin. He enjoys spending time traveling, discovering new restaurants, losing himself in unusual bookstores, and viewing great plays and musicals in Chicago, New York and London.
