Colin Douglas is a freelance director around the midwest. He has directed plays and musicals for and with youth, as well as all adult productions. Colin spent fourteen years directing plays with middle and high school students at Michigan's Interlochen Center for the Arts. For a time Mr. Douglas worked as a director with the Kalamazoo Junior Civic Theater and the New Vic Theater for Kids. Most recently Colin directed all actors of all ages at CTM Madison Family Theatre in such shows as "Schoolhouse Rock, Live!," "Little Women," "The Boxcar Children" and "A Christmas Carol--the Musical." Colin has been the Director of the high school intern program for three summers at the Clinton Area Showboat Theater in eastern Iowa. As such he has directed nine of the Theater for Kids shows, as well as one of the season's adult comedies, "Claptrap." He has also directed plays and musicals at the high school, college, and community theater levels. Mr. Douglas is currently available for new directing assignments upon request.
